June 20, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Members of ten political detainees, commonly known as SPLM-Uhuru or G10, have landed on “the right foot” on their second return to South Sudan capital, Juba.
The quadruple, led by Deng Alor Kuol, the former cabinet affairs minister, arrived today [Saturday] in Juba to continue to negotiate their full return to the country after spending 14 to 18 months in exile in the neighboring Kenya.
According to eyewitnesses and local media houses, the return of the ten exiled politicians, who identify themselves as the “SPLM-Leaders”, is gaining rapid momentum as their political home-coming is overshadowed by material and emotional supports.
Verified by reliable insiders, the ten politicians have been awarded nearly $20 millions US dollars by Salva Kiir administration for reconsidering their political position in the resettlement of the ongoing conflict in the country.
According to The National Courier, Salva Kiir’s regime has awared $ 17 Million USD dollars to the ten politicians when their delegation met Salva Kiir in Juba this afternoon.
“Multiple reliable sources within the government who were involved have disclosed to The National Courier that Deng Alor’s delegation of G10 were given 17 million dollars when they returned to Juba last month.” National Courier reports.
The source further allege that the fund was directly transferred from the office of the President as “negotiation funds” to the account of the team leader for the G10 without any approval from the National Legislative Assembly.
During the first visit of some of the former detainees, president Salva Kiir reiterated his earlier call, in accordance with the Arusha-SPLM Reunification Agreement, that he has unfrozen the accounts of all politicians, including those in the SPLM/SPLA.
After the republican decree, the exiled politicians would have access to withdraw from their empty accounts but only in the capital, Juba.
According to the credible source, the “negotiation funds” are essential for the former detainees to settle their huge bills in the region, specially in Kenya, for their accommodations and families, and also to facilitate their return to Juba.
South Sudan’s former detainees, who have lived under the auspice of Kenyans’ President due to fear of their lives under Salva Kiir’s regime which implicated the political opponents with fictitious treason charges, have been meeting with leaders of both warring parties outside the country.
Following their bold landing in Juba on 1st June, the former detainees promised to pay Dr.Riek Machar and his leadership a visit at his headquarters in Pagak to pursued the SPLM/SPLA in Opposition to as well return to Juba as part of Arusha Party Reunification Agreement, a call that Machar believes is impossible.
Speaking in Johannesburg After the AU summit, the Chairman of the SPLM/SPLA, Dr. Riek Machar, clarifies that the SPLM/SPLA [IO] is armed with thousands of troops, and therefore, they cannot just return to Juba without a Comprehensive Peace Agreement that addresses the root causes of the conflict and assures compensations and reparation for the victims’ families, security arrangements and also withdraws the foreign forces in the country.
Machar explained the position of the armed opposition to many leaders including the President of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete, who negotiates the Arusha Peace Agreement, other Africa leaders, envoys and representatives of the United Nations and the United States of America.
Unlike the previous five-members delegations, which included Cirino Hiteng and Madut Biar, the current delegation comprised of Chol Tong Mayay, the former Lakes state governor, John Luk Jok, the former justice minister, Kosti Manibe, the former minister of finance, and Deng Alor Kuol, the leader of G10 delegations.
According to political analysts, President Salva Kiir has removed many barriers to return the exiled politicians to Juba.
Among the major obstacles, Salva Kiir has decreed, distanced and reassigned many outspoken political opponents of the former detainees in what many South Sudanese politicians and intellectuals see as a strategic preparation to lure the exiled politicians and leaders of the armed Opposition to recognize Salva Kiir leadership.
Updates on Makuei Lueth’s Health Condition
In other reports, the government spokesman and the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Micheal Makuei Lueth, remains in critical condition in the neighboring Kenya.
Makuei collapsed two days ago in Juba and was rushed to Nairobi for better medical attention.
Although the cause of his sickness is yet to be revealed, his family is hopeful that the minister is expected to recover very soon.

The returned of Gangs-10 to the killer Kiir genocidal regime has absolutely zero significance as far as the peace settlement of the South Sudan’s current deadly civil war imposed on the democratic voices is concerned. Struggle will and shall continue until the last culprit of the December 2013 Nuer Juba genocide is dealt with or apprehended dead or alive.
