August 7, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The chairman and commander-in-chief of SPLM/SPLA in Opposition, Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, has relieved the chairman of National Committee for Finance and Resource Mobilization, Cde Gabriel Changson.
“Pursuant to April 2014 Nasir Consultation Conference Resolutions, I, Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, hereby relieves the Cde Gabriel Changson as Chairman of National Committee for Finance and Resource Mobilization” reads the order signed by Dr. Machar on August 6th, 2015.
The relieve of Changson, although not explained, came a few days after the relieve of two deputies of Chief of General Staff, Maj. Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth, and Maj. Gen. Peter Gatdet Yak.
Since their relieves, while Maj.Gen. Peter Gatdet traveled to Khartoum, Sudan, to attend the funeral of his elder son, who was murdered in Bor, Jonglei state in July, Maj. Gen. Gathoth Gatkuoth remained in Gambella, Ethiopia.
Prior to the split of the ruling party and the December, 2013, conflict, Hon. Changson Lew Chang served in various portfolios in Salva Kiir’s government.
He served as a minister of finance and economic planning in the autonomous government of South Sudan and later served as a Minister of Wildlife Conservation and Tourism in the Cabinet of South Sudan.
As a chairman of National Committee for Finance and Resource mobilization, Changson and colleagues toured USA, Canada and Australia to mobilize fund for SPLM/SPLA in opposition.

I Think Dr Riak Machar is indeed a caring Leader,Mr. proposed president of this great nation, fight corruption to zero, chanson Chang has been collecting money everywhere in the name of the freedom fighters just for the purpose of madness, if another group is indeed planning to defect the peoples movement, then the group may be very unfortunate

Riek himself defect and form his useless rebellion after his Boss Salva relieved him due to incompetency, so the relieved rebel commanders have all the rights to defect and fight Riek, this is very common in South Sudan that after loosing your job, you rebel to reclaim it, this is what Riek has been doing, wait for more breaking news which may break your nuer rebellion yu termed people’s movement.

NUER = Hero people, SPLM IO is doing well in all fronts. There is no reason to defect or to form a new movement. For what? if not for selfish self interest? The nuer community should isolate those betrayers who are defecting at this critical time. This is not about riek machar or any individual. This is about the NUER & the whole south sudan. When people are increasingly joining the SPLM IO for its popularity, few confused nuers may try to do some damage on the movement. But I trust in the leadership of SPLM IO & they will handle this recent dirty tactic of salva kiir & gordon buay. SPLM IO Oyee.

He was relieved after Riek found out that Changson Chang is leading great number of Rebel commanders to defect from the doomed Riek rebellion back to Juba, stay tune for more breaking news, dozen of Riek’s field commanders are already in Nairobi to declare their position, most of them never attended the so called pagak consultation which took place recently. Peter Gatdet and Gabriel Tanginye who are currently in Khartoum enrout to Nairobi has instructed their fighters on the ground and the various frontline not to fight Government forces, infact they already frozen their frontline, wait for more bad news for Riek rebellion, I advise the Dinkas and Equatorians in the doomed rebellion to make a U turn earlier the better, The so called SPLM-iO or SPLA-IO is finished, Johnson Olony is now in dilema weather to change his mind again.
Rebellion is finally coming to its knees, rebel commanders are planning to frustrate and betray Riek, they wanted to sign separate peace with Government then they see who will fight for Riek incase Government ignore him.

You see. Some thieves were confusing the generals from inside. Real Freedom fighters can not betray a movement for which they sacrificed everything. Betraying the SPLM IO is the same with betraying the NUER & south sudan in general. How can some one who sacrificed everything for a cause & then surrendered at the time when they have convinced the world & they won the war in all fronts? Salva kiir is staying only with the help of Museveni. The war is won period. The diplomacy is won period. What is remaining? Only implementing the democratic changes for which the freedom fighters died for. I would not be surprised if those individuals surrender because they were conrnered by the enemy & SPLM IO is weakened. The fact on the ground is the opposite & people just want to do that? They should think twice & the SPLM IO leadership should handle this situation carefully with out giving any chance to salve kiir & gordon buay. My message to salva kiir, you can not kill the truth how hard you try. SPLM IO is the truth & it will always triumph.

Dear brothers and sisters, in SPLA/SPLM-IO some people are above all and protected by their economic status,political allegiance or ethnic identity. What is going on is the plan of Taban Deng Gai and Anglina Teny,they dont want to be corrected by any one but let them know that their strategic and tactics are well known to the Nuer community and the people of South Sudan. For Dr. Riek, please take care next time will be you, the plan is beyond Changson, Gadet, Gathoth……. Thomas Kuma children will disappoint you soon. I have spoken.

That is an excuse. Some people are above all & protected by their political allegiance blah blah. We better talk about what happened. This is a clear betrayal. Salva Kiir bought some thieves from the SPLM IO & those people confused the generals. Other wise, Where are the disagreements? We heard that two generals submitted a separate paper for the peace agreement which is wrong because they had to discuss with the leadership & only what is agreed by all the leadership will be submitted. WHY NOW???? By the time when the sacrifices of the freedom fighters is giving fruits, some thieves can do that? Why do you think salva kiir wants to make peace with the generals not with kiir? It is because he knows they will not challenge him politically & not bother about democratic changes. Why do you think salva kiir group is working day in day out to isolate riek machar? It is because he knows where the motor of demand for change is coming from. I am sure freedom fighters will understand the consequence of some thieves with in the SPLM IO & isolate them quickly. Well the generals are hero true but if they do this, they should be ignored because obviously they are wrong.
