28nd Oct, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Based on the evidence I gather from the ground in Ayod county’s Jonglie State in South Sudan. Being a good person means more than just doing things for others. You have to accept and love yourself before you can put positive energy into the universe. Identify what being a good person means to you personally. Some people think that being a good person is as simple as not doing harm to another. Nevertheless, it is not always about what you do not do, but what you do for others.
In South Sudan, there are people who are useless and will remains useless for some good times in my country, South Sudan. Being a good person in the society means a lot for the nation, state, society and community. You gave money to the people who have money so that you gain some thing from them tomorrow or in future. Is it our country is moving forward or backward?
Youth are the future of any society. Therefore, gave people of what they want from you. Every stray child should become your responsibility in the society as a good person who cares about the people. Every hungry child should become your responsibility. When you understand the life of community and the community will understand your life too, this way, God will send angles to bless you with the good things of life and have never lack. Have provided for you so you can care for the needy people around you in the society or community. Gawaar-Nuer Community, have some people who remain with Gen: Salva Kiir Mayardit in Juba, South Sudan ,this people you see, are” egotistical” and only care about the their family members , (people) they do much cares with their children, wives ,relatives in life. My people in South Sudan do not care about the children, especially those in Salva Kiir’s Government. Does Mr Salva Kiir care about the children of South Sudan? Is he listening to their voices in social media or through other people? Does the first lady of Savla Kiir love the children of South Sudan? Some politicians in my country, South Sudan care for their biological children then God cannot do any good thing for you in the community. Gawaar-Nuer Community, just prayers hard for this heartnesses people in our society, so that they can go away from us the good people in the land of Ayod county. “They will be buried like us in same 6 mile underground” Let us assumes somebody dies today from heart blood pressure no one can bring their coffin in the land of Ayod(Gawaar-Nuer Community). You have money, you do not have money will go in some ways like the rests of us in the society. Position-to-position in South Sudan is big calamity in my country. If you are jobless no one care can give you something and therefore, South Sudan cannot continues like the way it is now. Big-to-big why not ordinary citizens to be given a first priority in the country. Some politicians employed their wives in the reception, office managers. Will Almighty God be happy for us? I do not think God will be happy. The level of tribalism, nepotism, protectionism is too much and hated especially elders who claim to be superior to others in Gawaar-Nuer Community in Juab, South Sudan. Being an elder in community it has shown from the person not by force and the people who calim to be elders in Gawaar-Nuer Community in Juba, are selfishness, ritual ,killers, useless, abhor in the society or the community. Who is who? Gawaar-Nuer will sit down again and choose a good elder, which cannot mislead the whole community for, his/her selfishness interest without the willing of the people.
In 18 December 2013 former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela pass away and the entire world was shock, I was reading for my forth paper which Decentralization and Development at Cavendish University (final year from the University). Although I never saw Nelson Mandela, because he is my role model in my life. I had rushed to the same my course mate about the death of lovely father of Africa and the entire world. I bring the case study about destinations of a good person and a bad person in the society or community. When you are a good person in the society, people remember you any time, if you are you a bad person no one remember you because you in the community. 50,000 world leaders including the President Barack Obama of US attended the burial of Nelson Mandlea; I quote President of United States of America. “Given the sweep of his life, and the adoration that he so rightly earned, it is tempting then to remember Nelson Mandela as an icon, smiling and serene, detached from the tawdry affairs of lesser men. Nevertheless, Madiba himself strongly resisted such a lifeless portrait. Instead, he insisted on sharing with us the doubts and fears; his miscalculations along with his victories”…
I quote the Winne Mandela “It’s very hard for the family to even share him in his death after sharing with the whole world and our whole country while he was alive. He is still not really just ours. His whole life belonged to the nation and to the world and that is how I will remember him… He gave up everything for his nation” What do you think if you dies today, will people remember you? Will people attend your burial in the society like Nelson Mandela in South Africa? Will people prepared traditional burial like you Nelson Mandela of South Africa, or will you be thrown in River Nile like Gen: George Athor ? If I died today, my people will remember me because am stays with them all the time, I eat with my people, I move with my people and I share ideas with my people as Hon: Ter Manyang Gatwech. Let us prepared our final funeral when we are not around on earth. We will not stay on earth for the rest of our life. “I know my legacy will be like Nelson Mandela, in South Africa, because I will prepare for it now and the right people are within Gawaar-Nuer Community and therefore, people must be given a chance to exercise their rights and the skills have acquired from higher learning institutions.” Bad people should be isolated in the community, they destroy community with their destructive thoughts, jealousness, and bad policies in the society, and therefore, including their useless children should be isolated too.
How to be a good person in the community/society
Being a good person is not hard, but it doesn’t just happen. As much as anything else, you have to want to be a good person and make choices that correspond with your beliefs. No matter where you are in your life, you can make the choice to change. Here are 15 simple traits of a truly good person.
- They are honest in community
Relationships can put an amazing amount of stress on a person, especially when things are going wrong. A nice person may try to stay in a relationship for too long, attempting to force something that is not there. However, a truly good person will be honest in their community and move it forward when things are going well and end it when the time comes. It is difficult, if not impossible, to live up to your lofty potential when your relationship is dragging you down. Be honest about how you feel and stay loyal when you have committed. Community need people who are good for their people in order the society can move forward. People who are not good in the community do not deserve any rights to be respected in the community.
- They compliment others when deserved.
Good people understand the felling of others people in the community and need praise. Complimenting is not only a good thing to do, but also a sign that you can be excited for other people’s triumphs. A truly good person will compliment when deserved and offer constructive criticism when warranted. Why people force themselves to be respect, yet they are useless in the community or in the society and only people who do-good thing in the community should be respected any time whether at night or daytime.
- They are polite.
Good people are polite. They show respect and mind their manners. It has not to be a showoff or to seem better; they just truly respect individuals and want to treat them how they want to be treated. You do not have to be formal or walk on eggshells to be polite. It is more a function of ensuring you act in a way that is fitting for your present location. They care for their society and the whole community will believe in them.
- They are kind to everyone.
A good person does not have to like everyone, but they are at least kind. They look at people for the person they can be and can look past the present to see the person’s positives. They empower the Youth and the whole community, so that everyone is on the right tackle.
- They are kind to loved ones.
Sometimes you can be great to others but treat the ones who love you the most the worst. A truly good person does not take out their problems on their loved ones and is as pleasant at home as in the public eye. Community need good people like us we the young people. People who love others are stays longer on earth not like the people who wish others people to died without proper reason.
- They make friends easily.
A truly good person is one who people want to be around. People are drawn to them. By being positive and finding the best in others, they can make and keep friends easily. Some people in South Sudan cannot even if talk to their children at home due to their harshness in their homes. The good thing is people who have money their children are masters for alcoholic and useless children that not do anything to the society.
In conclusion; people are bad in the society should not be given a chance to leads the good people in the community. What is your ideal with the bad people in the community? Are you doing things in community because it will help you tomorrow Or are you doing things because you truly want to give and help?
