County Commissioner: Government Assaults on Payinjiar Defeated by Local Youth!
May13th, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — In the latest reports obtained by Nyamilepedia Editorial Team, a heavy assault, coordinated from two directions by the government troops on Payinjiar County has been defeated by the local youth following more than five hours of sustained battles, according to the County commissioner.
“there have been heavy attacks that came from different directions toward Payinjiar County on Wednesday.” said Capt John Tap Puot Kang, the commissioner of Payinjiar County.
According to the Commissioner, who spoke to our editorial team through a satellite phone, the attackers came from two directions on Wednesday morning.
Captain Kang told Nyamilepedia press that the first attack came through Taiyar Port in the South Eastern part of the County and another attack came in the direction of Lakes State, directed to the Southern part of the County.
“The ships that attack Payinjiar were send from Chambek port from Lakes State Yirol East County” the Commissioner said.
In an intensive Interview, Captain Tap congratulates the youth of Payinjiar County and “freedom fighters for fighting to death in defense of their vulnerable Nuer civil population that Salva Kiir government wants to eliminate”
“The dinka government of Salva Kiir is interrupting our people lives so that they cannot planting their crops, so that they will suffer from hunger, famine and starvation next season. That is why Kiir is burning down our houses, killing our people to stay in power” said the captain who could be heard roaring over the thuraya phone from his County Headquarters.
According to the UN human rights official, who spoke today in Geneva, “At least 28 towns and villages have been attacked in South Sudan’s oil-producing Unity State during almost two weeks of fighting, with reports of killings, rape, arson and looting,” the Reuters reports.
Captain Tap believes that by Wednesday afternoon the attacking forces have suffered huge loses, and decided to withdraw towards Lakes state.
“heavy losses on the Government side are beyond description, we are still chasing them out of our County. The youth are after them from noon to now” Tap said.
The Commissioner said his troops have destroyed a big ship that carry hundreds of troops. He believes the troops were to be stationed and wire-fenced in Payinjiar county headquarters during the rainy seasons.
“You know they are repeating what they did at this time last year in Ayod and Nasir. Big ships full of untrained gelweng boys from Lakes….Malong want to capture Payinjiar and dig his army into ground here and say let them stay there. You see” He explains.
Capt. Tap said the ships used by the government forces carried the flag of United Nations. He believes that the three ships when direct to port Adok direction.
In other reports, heavy fighting continue in other parts of Unity State. Commissioner Tap said that the neighboring Mayendit County has been under siege for the last two days.
Given the strategic position of Payinjiar County, Commissioner Tap said his forces have intercepted many retreating government troops from Mayendit fighting who attempted to penetrate the County to Maper County of Rumber North.
The commissioner said many wounded government troops from Mayendit battles felt into ambush laid by Payinjiar youth on Tuesday.
The Captain congratulates his counterparts, Brigadier General Gatbany Kong and Haak youth, who battled government troops in Mayendit County for the last two days.
Although the commissioner was not able to give the real estimates of the loses from these battles, he denounces Salva Kiir government for “brutal humiliation, rapes, massacres and human rights violations” on civil population.
“people are just doing their normal activities in the County, they do not know the politics in Juba but Salva Kiir send troops to kill them. What government is this? Kiir has lost legitimacy and he must step down.”
“If the government want to use Lake states as a launching pad our forces will enter Lakes states, they must stop frustrating our people and let them live their lives. We want nothing from Salva Kiir and his dinka government. Our people need peace” Tap said.
Asked of what the international community can do, the commissioner calls on the International community to declare Salva Kiir illegitimate and force him to step down.
“The International Community should know that they contributed immeasurably to creation of this young country. They can’t let uncivilized illegitimate president ruins the efforts of everyone. The economics has collapsed and very soon this country will disintegrate into full civil war. The dinka of Salva Kiir are raping our women, raiding our cattle and killing our children and elderly. This must not be allowed to continue for long. The international community must act to remove Salva Kiir from power. Kiir has failed us” The commissioner frustratedly shouts his last remarks to the deaf ears of the international community.
