Sept 3, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Lou-Nuer Community Leadership Council in UNMISS Protection of Civilian Sites of Juba and others States of South Sudan have acknowledged the signing of peace after 20 months bloodiest conflict in the country. For that matter, we are highly praising an entire leadership of the SPLM-IO, the government of Juba, IGAD Members States and governments, international and the national stakeholders who took part in the Addis Ababa submits. We appreciated IGAD members States of pressing those who were seen to be obstructing peace process for one or another reason.
Our cohesion goes to all who signed peace for us and, to the wiser leadership of the Revolutionary movement. It rights decision to stop war and rethinks of rebuilding the nation. We are optimistic that, peace will be implementing to the best interest of the people of South Sudan as the very document have mentioned almost all the burning issues that led to war.
We say publicly our prop up for the IGAD budge toward peaceful resolution of the deadliest conflict in South Sudan.
Meanwhile, with this public statement, thousands of Lou-Nuer Internally Displaced Persons in Juba, Bentiu, Bor and Malakal are articulating an overwhelming supports to the IGAD+pioneered Compromise Peace Agreement which has signed on the 17th of August, 2015 in Addis Ababa-Ethiopia. We continue supporting any action deemed to furnish those seen intransigent to peace for the sake of the people of South Sudan.
We undoubtedly acknowledged the best job done by the Lou-Nuer community home for inspiration of defending their ancestry land from being taken by the combination of the so-called Juba government and Ugandan whose wishes were accompanied by motive of occupying Lou-Nuer land. Lou-Nuer Community of all walks stands by him (Dr. Machar) to continue with the best initiatives that intended to bring back South Sudan to its feet.
With this peace agreement, IDPs hope for new beginning of hope to return back to their homes and start rebuilding their broken lives. We make our statement clear that, individual personalities within amongst the Lou-Nuer community who are in one way or another trying to have different motives apart from the collective views of the whole Lou-Nuer community toward the revolutionary movement, or, the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar in particular, we urge that you decede from that.
