Jikany (Latjor) Community Rejects Kiir’s Decree That Unilaterally Creates 28 States From The Existing 10 States

Oct 06, 2015(Nyamilepedia) —-Jikany (Latjor) Community in Kenya rejected the recent changes made by the president and terms it as a breach to the constitution and setback to the recent signed IGAD-Plus Compromise Peace Agreement. It would have been acceptable if the president waited for a right time to initiate this change after the implementations of the peace agreement or had done it before the conflict.

Because by doing this president is sending a message to the world and the IGAD-Plus countries that they are not for peace, as well that to the South Sudanese that we are not ready to end the grieve Humanitarian situations in the current, so the concerned citizens must stand up and say enough is enough so the current conflict must end now not later by calling up on the president to reconsider his decisions and wait for a right time of such change to happen. The current IGAD-Plus Compromise Peace Agreement must be the top priority to the all parties to end the suffering of our people.

We as Community rejected this and call upon the president to reconsider his decisions and focus only on the current peace to end the suffering of our people. Because this recent changes by the president exposed the hiding interest and others interest to mislead the overall community into following wrong directions apart from the objectives of the very peace Agreement which could lead our Nation to peace and prosperity.

Again and again we stand tall, put our full support and our commitment under the recent signed IGAD-Plus Compromise Peace Agreement to end the suffering of our people.

GOD bless Jikany Community, Nuer Community and all the 64 tribes of South Sudan and GOD bless the vision and objectives of SPLM/A-IO. Victory is certain.
