Feb 3, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- Following the recent attack on Makak Payam of Sobat State by Murle armed men which occurred on 29th January, 2016, where the attackers abducted three children and took all the village’s livestock, today Tuesday, February 3, 2016, Sobat State authorities received through a radio message in Akobo County of Bieh State an encouraging note concerning the recovery of one of the three abducted children as well as an unconfirmed number of the raided cattle. Chot Gatwech Tut, 5 years old is safe in Akobo now waiting to be reunited with his family soon.
Sobat State authority has praised and congratulated the heroic move by the Lou Nuer Youths who having heard the events that took place in Makak have gone on all possible routes that the Makak raiders might take to slip and laid them the successful ambush which have led to this remarkable recovery story we are sharing and celebrating today.
Chot is currently in Akobo under the custody of the County’s authority. According to Akobo County Commissioner Honorable Koang Thor, the child will be seen and interviewed by Save the Childen soon being the concerned NGO for children’s unfair exposures.
As for the livestock recovered, the two States’ authorities are in constant communication on how they can brought back and given to their owners. Sobat State government will alert and update all as soon as the cattle reinstated back to the hands of their rightful owners.
Akobo and Bieh State at large have been with the people of Sobat State and Makak victims in particular the very time the incident happened as Akobo has been the place where the wounded of the attack are taken for treatment. We could not thank them enough.

I couldn’t have enough appreciation to our brother and sister of Lou-Nuer “Borcharr” in intercepting those thugs of( Murle youths ). Now then ever before, any one entering Lou-Nuer,Jikany-land, & greater Unity State will be subjected to inspection in any way.
Like to remind all Naath in all corners please,let step up the patrolling our territories day & night so that no lives lost in any under those circumstances.
Let be alerted always because all Anuak & murle are armed by premitive(kirr) to assist dinka in fighting against Naath/Nuer nation.

especial thank to the Lou Nuer Borchaar community for their hard work which made one child from Makak village from Jikany Nuer survive under the hand of attackers. please continue working hard we are one tribes as Nuer. Salva kiir is trying to target us by using other tribes but we can defend our selves because God created us as brave people who never fear.
