May 27, 2015(Nyamilepedia)—Dear all; supporters, sympathizers of SPLM/SPLA and the general public we would like to bring to your attention this press release on the issues of our country.

On 17 may 2015, the leaders of Greater Equatoria in SPLM/SPLA -IO and the leaders of Greater Equatoria serving in government have signed an agreement of ideas on the current crisis that state of South Sudan is passing through and formed a committee from the both sides after meetings that continued for three consecutive days in Kenyan capital Nairobi.

The committee agreed on the unification of visions that will grantee the immediate implementation of federalism during transitional period as a system of governance in the Republic of South Sudan and comprehensive reforms in all National and state institutions . In addition to overhaul reform and transformation of national army and the status of National capital city.

This document was signed by representatives of three Equatoria states leaders in government led by Justin Yako and in side of greater Equatoria’s leaders in SPLM/SPLA by Cde.Ramadhan Hassan Lako, the chief coordinator in office of the chairman of SPLM/SPLA-IO, Dr.Riek Machar.

Dear all, supporters and sympathizers; we are hereby affirming to you that the meetings convened by our leaders and those of Equatoria leaders in government of president Salva Kiir in Nairobi, Kenya last week does not reflect returning of any Greater Equatoria leader to the government in Juba and what has been circulating in social media and some websites for defections of Equatoria leaders within the revolutionary movement is just rubbish and baseless allegations.

It is considered as dangerous propaganda which is meant to defame the image of SPLM/SPLA-IO. LT.Gen.Alfred Lado Gore, the deputy chairman of SPLM/SPLA-IO and all leaders of greater Equatoria in SPLM/SPLA-IO are keen enough, remain committed and still loyal to SPLM/SPLA-IO under the leadership of Dr.Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon and they are committed to change the regime by any means possible.

They have no any intention to abandoned the revolutionary movement after fighting the government for almost two years.

The leaders from both sides agreed to change the regime in Juba and it should be for immediate effect from now.

The document signed by the both sides will be hand over to IGAD member states,TROIKA countries, Africa Union, and European Union and United Nations and in addition to some African countries such as Nigeria, Chad, Algeria, South Africa and Rwanda.

Cde.Nyarji Jermlili Roman D/Spokesperson. SPLM Chairman Office Addis Baba , Ethiopia.

No permanent deal with Nuers. 95% of them don’t honor agreement. It’s good Equatorians are inviting war to their area. Everybody in South Sudan will test war. one thing I don’t like is, their leaders have looted enough and when the war comes, they will run to Uganda ad Congo leaving behind innocent civilians like what Riek is doing. I will be happy to hear Equatoria people rebel against the government.

        Panom,
Lets not forget that the amount of South Sudan leaders that have not looted with impunity are a lot less than those who have looted. We should not nitpick at Equatroian for calling themselves to thoroughly identify their major interests as far as their region is concern. After all the council of Jaang criminal elders have set South Sudan on fire and the whole world is intimidated by them. Lets every community identify what their most important issues are and maybe they will approach the primitive council of Jaang criminal elders and the best way forward. From there Jaang council of elders can chose to fight on tribal bases where there are no rules of engagement as been happening since dec/2013 or can make peace with others and put together a GONU that will reflect inclusivity of the 64+ tribes. Otherwise Equatorians are the sober one in this move. The Nuers sucks really bad because they are dumb down by Jaang and confused to a point where they don’t even imagine a life without a Jang dictating to them how to live a life as a South Sudanese. This bother me much. The Nuers are letting the Jaang defined who they are. How hard is it for Nuer elders to confront Jaang on this issue of indiscriminate killing. Why is there killing to begin with let alone indiscriminate. Do you think Jaang wants to fight Nuers where nothing is left to stand? The answer will be NO. If the Answer is YES. why don’t the Nuers community Elders called the Jaang Elders and ask for how long do they wish South Sudan to continue in this direction of target and indiscriminate Killing?

        Dear Panom,

I find the two important questions you raised more interesting. One of the questions is 95% of Nuer do not honor agreement. First off, which agreement are you referring to and where did you pick up the 95% from?

Secondly, you stated that Equatorians are inviting the war. I disagree with you that Equatorians have never invited the war. Instead the war has been imposed on them for many occasions. Dispute their greatest hospitality. Those whom have been invited with open arms, have grabbed the land. Bari community lost their ancestral lands. Sudan Tribune (2012) explained that “The clashes erupted over two days, on Sunday and Monday, between members of the Bari community and non-Bari, particularly the Dinka and Nuer inhabitants in the capital, north of Munuki area” (p.1).

If Equatorians now pick a gun to fight, they do so because they run out of patient. They have seen many innocent people have been killed and their lands have been taken away by thugs in Juba. Like Mayor Honorable Cecilia Aba Tito who was gunned down and dragged over a plot of land. Have Equatorians ever grabbed the lands any where out of Equatoria in South Sudan? They also fought during the war but they do not claim anybody’s land as other people do in South Sudan.

Panom, let us not confus the situation of Dr. Riek and his Nuer people who have been murdered in Juba. Please we all understand that Dr. Riek escaped narrowly from being assassinated by Kiir. Supposed Riek planned aborted coup, why did Slava Kiir murdered innocent Nuers in Juba? Were the children and their families who were mercilessly killed planned the aborted coup with Dr. Riek Machar?

Let us reason things out logically. By the way, Dr. Riek did not plan any coup. Dr. Peter Adwok elaborated very clearly that “Salva Kiir has shot himself in the foot. This is incredible, President Kiir who on Monday was on TV screens worldwide announcing that his forces had crushed an attempt coup is now saying that it was not a coup”

Where is that document which was signed so that people can read for themselves. I am aware that the three Equatoria governments were in Nairobi and they clearly stated that they came to talk with their Equatoria people in Riek’s movement. We will appreciate if the resolutions are made known. Federalism is never an issue of war. Everyone agrees with it except the mechanism for implementing it because it cannot be imposed. It must be decided by the people of South Sudan through either their elected officials or a plebiscite.

Federalism should be decided by the people through referendum period. Should that alleged to be causes of violence and destruction of properties and lost of lives,no.

        Danniel,

If it was that easy then why did Slava Kiir allow those who were going to run for Presidency to do so that South Sudanese would have elected whom ever they want?

Who will bring referendum? Is the SPLM-10 leadership not ask the government to allow reform so that people referendum can be given for people to choose what kind of governance is needed in South Sudan? Does the government in Juba listen?

      AGUMUT,

Do not worry bro. The war will be done before it reaches all part of Equatora. All the women and children will be left in Equatoria. They men will take to finish in the Wrap State. The war is taken to the President’s home state so that those stooges who supported the President blindly will feel the pain of the war. They should have asked the President to resign a long time ago. It is too late to ask now because the war is at his door’s step.

    Hello Readers and Reporters

As I read this article piece of fake release:

I realized that the vision reunification between 3 Equatoria Governors and Nuer leaders in Opposition is a house built on vacano and earth quark zone????

Most nuer people and Nyam nyam Equatoria people combine can not built the Impossible road map into reality vision because many of you here Readers and the South Sudan history know why???
Any Nyagats is free to rebellion and formed his or her own tribal militias but the POWER OF THE LION KING in anywhere in South Sudan is ready to crush any militias whether nuer or Shilluk or any Dinka militia or any nyam nyam Equatoria..

For your information, the article clearly said Equatorians on both sides even you who claimed times and times again that you are Nuer was not invited. So why do you think any real Nuer would be a part of what the Equatorian are conspiring for as they deemed good for Equatorians. Can you please congratulate the Equatorians for wanting to have a unified voice and a vision aspiring to their wishes. ofcourse a coward would not wish Equatorians nor Nuers well. Your *ss is exposed by your own comment. You are not a Nuers and I never did take you for one anyways.

      Abuchook,

Where is the Lion’s King when the government lost all the key areas to the rebels? Just example Malakal. Also, the war has been going on for 2 or nearly 3 years now. Will the Lion King come when the rebels capture entire country?

Abuchook, I hope you are not in a dream land! The rebels are capable to bring down the gunships. Where was the Lion’s King when the gunship fell down like a coconut tree? I feel sorry for the poor souls. Please come back to reality and understand that the rebels have built them strong. No doubt about that.

this press release are lies and nonsense the don’t make no sense south sudan is one state and one region, and it will be one state or region in my opinion it will be known as Equatoria region of south sudan or Mangalatoria region of south sudan ,and it will also be nobody or the group of they people who are going to claim that the Great Equatoria region , the great Uper Nile region or the Great Bhar el Ghazel region this is my opinion, The region sample will be known as the people Republic of Sudan (PRS) and her Army is known as the Sudan ‘s People defence force (SPDF) as the national army of the people ‘s Republic of Sudan in the south and the Republic of Sudan in north because Sudan belong to us not to the Arabs in north, why we leave our name sudan to the north to called themselves the Republic of Sudan and we called ourselves the Republic of south sudan in order to called ourselves the people ‘s Republic of Sudan.

Most of you dis agree with out any good confirmation. Is it inaccessible for the equatoria leaders in gov’t to discuss any issue with those in democratic mov’t? If so and why? Iam very joyful that I have now seen the really leader ship of the rebel which has no any triblism as it is really democratic leader ship. You start to see from representative which include different tribes in the country every thing is fair. SPLM/ IO is our good hope.
