August 21, 2015 (Nyamilepedia)-–The office of south Sudan Artists’ Association in Ethiopia (SSAAE) is hereby announcing to the public that it will be launching Jimme peace’s concert next week in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia.
Paul Ruot Bayoch, (AKA- Paul B.), the secretary of the association revealed that the concert will be held on Friday, August /28th /2015 at Gerji Hall, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. He further stressed that entrance is free and all media houses are invited to cover the show.
Khor Deng Jang (AKA- Khor dj), the chairman of the association urges all south Sudanese communities not to lose hope on peace.process because of failure of the president to sign the agreement.
“Don’t lose hope my people. Peace is just in the corner. A distance of mouth to the nose and blinking of an eye. Peace will be signed. International communities are behind us and wouldn’t allow sufferings to continue this time.”
He believes that two weeks time given to president Kiir would be the end of all the sufferings.
However, some members of SSAAE are not optimistic. They doubt Kiir’s commitment to end this crises.
Tang Peter Gatdet (AKA-Tango) said, “President Kiir is not a right person to bring peace to this country. He deserves to be put aside in the formation of Transition Government of National Unity (TGoNU). He deliberately caused these messes and still keep delaying peace process to impoverish this country and further put it into state of lawlessness.”
Tango further express frustrations on peace talks and strongly urge south Sudan’s government to meet 15 days ultimatum to finally ink IGAD-Plus compromise peace agreement.
“ I strongly call on the government to accept peace in this very last chance to save the children and women of south Sudan. Our daily routines and celebrations will never get better remembering that our people are suffering somewhere. So it’s on us to keep destroying our future or reserve it.”
BulBul Dojiok (AKA- LTD), the deputy chairman of the association believes that unnecessary extension of the peace talks by Mr. Kiir was mean to further create super confusion so as to resort to military means which he believe would end the rebellion.
“All south Sudanese are more informed on what is taking place in Addis Ababa. What they all wanted is just inking the agreement. Nothing more!. There is no need to consult constituencies. Consultation for what? How many times did he consulted his constituencies? The outcome of all consultations was always the same and this will not be an exception. It\s just a delaying tactics . We want peace now not later than 31st..
