SPLM/A-IO Liaison Office In Uganda Condemn The Move Of Hotel Based Disgruntled Politicians To Nominate Themselves As FVP and Speaker

July 28, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— The Liaison office in Uganda Condemn the Government of President Salva Kiir’s moved attempted to assassinate the H.E First Vice President Dr.Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon on Friday 8, July 2013 at J1 (Presidential Palace), Juba.

As well as the continuing hunting mission of First Vice President H.E and C-in-C Dr. Machar by the SPLA of President Salva Kiir in the bushes of Juba-Yie road.

We also, condemn the nomination made by IO Hotels based politicians for they have no legitimate base for their decision to replace the FVP H. E.DR. Machar

The incident is against the signed peace agreement and we condemn it in strongest term possible and call on international community to intervene militarily to stop the suffering of our beloved people in the country through third party force and for the peace to prosper.

As stated in the signed Compromise Peace Agreement that, if the position of IO FVP fall vacant the party should sit and fills the vacant position; but the absent of Dr.Machr in Juba was not a normal movement nor administrative issues, but he was forced out of Juba military by President Salva Kiir’s government.

If any one is to be acting as IO politician, should not think to replace him, but only condemned the move done by president Kiir in an attempt to assassinate the Chairman and C-in-C H.E.Dr.Machar, and still pursuing him around the bushes of Juba-Yie road.

Those who thought to replace him are the ones who are stabbing the movement at the back and will not be supported by the entire movement.

And as a matter of fact there are no supporters of such a move in nominating Taban Deng to replace H.E. and C-in-C Dr. Machar but many were forced to, because of their vulnerability in the Hotels.

The Liaison Office in Kampala, the entire SPLM/A Supporters are in full support of the H.E First Vice President and C-in-C Dr. Machar, and all the moves done by Hotels based IO officials is unacceptable.

We also condemn the Presidential decree issued in appointing Taban Deng Gai in the position of FVP, and must be reversed for the implementation of the signed peace agreement.

The return of FVP and Peace to South Sudan:

For the peace to prosper and the First Vice President H.E.Dr.Machar return to South Sudan, we need the intervention of the third force to restore security in Juba and the safe return of the FVP.

If the President Kirr’s Government fail to accept, JMEC, IGAD, AU, Troika, and the UN fail speed up the intervention of the third force in South Sudan, then the current signed peace will be at peril and would be the start of another conflict. And we appreciated the regional decision to boost UNMISS peace keeping forces in the country.

Peace is imminent, so our objective as SPLM/A is to bring Freedom, Justice, Equality, and Prosperity to our country through peace by transformation of the current system of governance of President Kiir.
