Government Forces Attack the Opposition Troops in Kariak Lou Nuer-Murle Route.
June 08, 2015 (Nyamilepedia)—On Saturday 06 June 2015 SPLA Juba forces in combination with Yau Yau forces in Pibor plan to attack Akobo via Likwangole not knowing that the Murle community inhabiting Likwangole had peace agreement with Lou Nuer and the area is under command of Maj.Gen Paulino Zanglil Acting Governor for Pibor in SPLAIO.
Juba regime ordered their forces to much to Pibor to push David Yau Yau mobilize his forces in Pibor and the Murle youths who are supporting the government to attack the forces of Maj General Paulino base in Joam who are preventing their forces to pave their way to Akobo.
SPLAIO security intelligent under the command of Gen Paulino realized the plans and their forces moved toward Kariak area.
The SPLA Juba forces fell in to an ambush and suffer loss in term of human lives and ammunition. Twenty soldiers from the government side were killed and twenty four soldiers sustained severe wound.
The reported extended to Nyamilepedia Editorial Team suggested seven killed and fourteen other wounded from the SPLAIO side.
“They were repulsed back to Nyirgeny area not far from the incident area.The SPLA -IO cobra forces and Murle Warriors under the command of Maj.General Paulino Zanglil mobilizes themselves and are still after them until they are pursued back to Pibor.” Read the Press
Maj.General Paulino Zanglil condemned the incident in the strongest term possible saying the continues attack on the SPLAIO positions will not be tolerated.
The GAD and the International community should note that Salva Kiir and his regime are not ready to bring peace back to South Sudan.
Any continue attack of his base in Pibor will result to disastrous and complete cleansing of Juba presence in Pibor.
He added that since David Yau Yau is being driven by Juba regime because of money he will now make sure Yau Yau and Salva forces are out of Pibor States.
